The Xbox August 2024 update is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S users, bringing several exciting new features:

Expanded Fire TV Support for Xbox Cloud Gaming
The Xbox app on Fire TV is now available on more devices, including the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st Gen) and Fire TV Cube (3rd Gen). This expansion offers greater flexibility for gamers who want to play their favorite titles on the devices they already own.

Enhanced Discord Integration

  • Find Discord Friends and Channels: Stay updated with what your Discord friends are up to on your Xbox. Whether they're playing, chatting, or streaming, you can easily join in without needing the Discord app on PC or mobile.
  • Watch Discord Streams: Now you can watch Discord streams directly on your Xbox console when connected to a Discord call or voice channel. Additionally, you can stream your gameplay to your Discord friends straight from your Xbox.

Selective Game Installations
For games with multiple features or large downloads, you can now choose which components to install, saving time and storage space.

New Controller Customization Options

  • Toggle Hold Feature: Available on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and Xbox Adaptive Controller, this feature allows you to hold down a button with a single press, improving accessibility.
