Grand Theft Auto 5 and Several Other Titles Leaving PlayStation Plus Games Catalog in June 2024

Grand Theft Auto 5 and several other titles are set to leave the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog available to Extra Tier members in June 2024.

As reported by Push Square, the PlayStation Store's "Last Chance to Play" page has been updated to include a dozen titles headlined by the beloved GTA 5, as well as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Indivisible. Players will no longer have access to these titles as of June 18.

Also being removed are DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace, Dodgeball Academia, Monster Jam Steel Titans, MotoGP 23, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition, The Wild at Heart, and Unturned. Additionally, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will lose access to Baja: Edge of Control HD from the Classic Games Catalog.

GTA 5's removal will come just one month after developer Rockstar Games' latest, Red Dead Redemption 2, was added to the service. GTA 5 has had an interesting history with the service; it was initially a launch title for the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog but was removed in September 2022 before being added back in December 2023. The decade-old game has been available on the service since then.

May 2024's additions to the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog included Cat Quest, Watch Dogs, and G-Police. Although this lineup may seem thinner than usual, Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to carry it a long way.

For those looking to maximize their time in GTA 5 before its removal, here are some useful resources:

  • GTA 5 Phone Cheats: Make your gameplay more exciting with a variety of cheat codes accessible via your in-game phone.
  • Lester Missions – GTA 5: Complete missions given by Lester Crest to earn substantial rewards and influence the in-game stock market.
  • How to Unlock More Haircuts in GTA 5: Discover how to unlock additional hairstyles for your characters to customize their appearance to your liking.

Make the most of your remaining time with these games and prepare for the new additions coming soon!
